Murder Counter, 2013-2014
For a two year period, I wore the Murder Counter daily as a private, ongoing performance. The counter was clicked in the event of, or reportage of a murder. The parameters for clicking included murders seen on film and tv, as well as the word "murder" when spoken by others or in print.
The performance ended in November 2014, after an electric shock of no direct relation, the current of which exited through the Murder Counter.
